Sik - Kedah Sightseeing

Sik is a small town located in rural area of Kedah state. It  is also a name of its district and is about 54 km from Sungai Petani town.


Among the popular tourist attractions in Sik district are:

• Beris Lake - a pictureque large man-made lake located at about 24 km from Sik town offers a peaceful and relaxing spot surrounded by lush greenery and stunning landscapes ideal for picnicking, fishing activities besides boat ride or kayak peddling around the lake.  
• Peranginan Sik - classified as lowland dipterocarp forest and located 3 km from Sik town has an ideal place for a retreat, hiking, camping with natural surroundings of hills and mountains of Sik.   
• Lata Mengkuang Recreational Forest - located about 12 km from Sik off the road from Sik to Baling has an attractive 20 m waterfalls. Popular activities here includes family picnicking, swimming and camping.
